Eminem also known as Marshall Mathers III was born on October 17, 1972 in St. Joseph, Kansas City, Missouri, USA. A son of Debbie Mathers-Briggs and Marshall Mathers II, was raised together with his half brother - Nathan Mathers-Briggs in Detroit, Michigan, USA His Zodiac sign is Libra. He, enrolled himself in a local Lincoln High School 1986-89. By the age of 14, Marshall would adopt the Slim Shady surname and perform as a member of the duo Soul Intent. A year later Dr. Dre discovered the Slim's demo tape on the floor of Interscope label chief Jimmy Iovine's garage. Now named Eminem, he would take second place in the freestyle category at 1997's Rap Olympics MC battle in Los Angeles. Two years after he relesed Slim Shady LP ,selling over a million copies before year's end and landing at #1. His second album was noticably darker but still immensely popular.
